Your first orthodontic visit is our opportunity to get to know you and get insight into your orthodontic needs. This will also allow you to become familiar with our office and allow us to address your specific concerns. After this initial exam if orthodontic treatment is indicated the next step is to gather additional diagnostic records.
Diagnostic records typically include digital models of the teeth so that we may analyze the relationship of the teeth within the jaws. This will be accomplished using the Itero™ scanner. Digital radiographs (which represent the most advanced low dose x-ray technology) are also taken to determine the position of the teeth and jaws as they relate to the skull. Supplementing these records are digital photographs which allow the orthodontist to view and evaluate the actual appearance of the shape and structure of the teeth, as well as overall facial balance. After the orthodontic records are taken, a consultation appointment is made to discuss the results of the orthodontic record analysis, the treatment plan, and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions or address any concerns regarding orthodontic care.
Our flexible hours, including early morning, lunchtime and evening appointments, are designed to accommodate the busiest of schedules. We will make every effort to provide the most convenient appointment for you.
