Dr. Ashleigh Alex is a 3rd generation dentist who obtained her DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Alex has a passion for research and while at Columbia won several awards, including the prestigious Dr. Milton Schlesinger Award for Excellence in Research.
After dental school, Dr. Alex decided to further her expertise in the craniofacial and dental fields and pursued a specialty in Orthodontics. She completed a three-year residency in Orthodontics and also received a Master of Science degree from Columbia University.
Prior to dental school, Dr. Alex attended College of the Holy Cross and graduated with a degree in Biology. After college, she worked at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Gastrointestinal Oncology. Beyond the dental chair, Dr. Alex enjoys traveling with her husband Tyler, taking yoga classes, and spending time with her family.
