Dr. Ryan founded Greenwich Braces in 1998. She attended Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery, graduating in 1992. Dr. Ryan graduated in the top 10% of her class and was honored to receive the PSI award, Operative Dentistry Award and the American Society of Dentistry for Children Certificate of Merit.
She was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society which consists of 10% of graduating dentists in the United States who, in addition to scholarship, have demonstrated exemplary traits of character and professionalism. Dr. Ryan was also nominated into Women in Medicine. This is reserved for a select group who have upheld the highest standard in patient care while empowering advancement opportunities for women within the Medical/Dental community.
Next, she completed a hospital based general practice residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. In 1995 Dr. Ryan completed her post graduate training in Orthodontics at the Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, receiving her certificate in orthodontics. After her residencies she worked as an associated of Dr. Marc Lemchen in New York City.
Dr. Ryan is also an adjunct professor for Dental Ethics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She was recognized as one of the top Orthodontics by her peers in the Greenwich Magazine for the years 2009 - 2023. She was also recognized as a Fairfield County top dentist for the years 2009 - 2023. Dr. Ryan lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with her husband Jack and two children, Grace and AJ.
